Preparation
Confirm access before starting setup
This guide covers only the steps needed to connect. Before you start, prepare a working browser and confirm that your current network can open the VPNVG user dashboard. Registration, orders, subscriptions, and client downloads are all handled in the dashboard. The marketing site does not provide static installers or display your account’s actual subscription URL. This helps prevent importing a configuration that does not match your account.
Keep the user dashboard signed in while you work. Returning to this page after each step is less confusing than opening several settings pages at once. If you already have an active account and plan, skip to “Get a Subscription.” If the client is installed but the route list is empty, return to “Get a Subscription” and check again instead of creating another account.
A subscription link is part of your account configuration and should only be pasted into the subscription import option in the VPNVG client. The https://example.com/sub?token=YOUR_TOKEN shown here is only a format example; it cannot connect and does not belong to any VPNVG account.
Account Setup
Create an Account and Open the User Dashboard
After opening the VPNVG sign-up page, you will see fields for a username and password. Choose a username you can easily recognize, set a unique password, and submit the form. VPNVG does not require an email address, so there is no email confirmation to wait for. Once the page confirms that the account was created, follow the prompts to open the user dashboard. Your username and password are used to view orders, retrieve subscriptions, and manage client access, so consider saving them in a trusted password manager.
If the page remains unchanged after submission, check the message near the input fields. Common causes include an unsupported username format or mismatched passwords. Correct the indicated field and submit again; do not click the button repeatedly in quick succession. After entering the dashboard, confirm that the username shown at the top or in the account area is the one you just created, then continue to plan selection.
Existing users do not need to create another account. Use “Log In” in the navigation to open the original account, then confirm that Account Overview loads. Creating multiple accounts can split orders and subscriptions between them, and the client may import the configuration for the wrong account. Use the same account throughout the rest of the setup.
Create an account with a username and password—no email address required.
Choose a Subscription
Choose a plan based on your actual usage
In the Plans section of the user dashboard, you will see monthly subscriptions and data packages. Monthly subscriptions include ¥9.9/month with 60GB, ¥18/month with 250GB, and ¥28/month with 500GB; data resets monthly from the activation date. Data packages are used from a fixed allowance until it runs out and never expire, including ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, and ¥658/3000GB. Consider your usage habits first rather than comparing only the one-time price.
If you use the service regularly and want a fixed allowance each billing month, a monthly subscription is easier to manage. If your usage varies and you want to save remaining data for later, consider a data package. All plans support unlimited devices, but multiple devices on one account share that account’s data, so choose based on total usage rather than dividing it by device count.
Open the plan you are considering and review its name, price, data allowance, and billing details. Then complete the order using the steps shown in the dashboard. Payment methods include Alipay, WeChat Pay, and USDT. After payment, keep the page open while the order status refreshes. If it does not change immediately, return to the Orders section and check again instead of creating the same order twice.
When you upgrade a monthly subscription mid-cycle, the price difference is prorated based on the remaining days. If you cannot estimate your usage at first, begin with the tier that fits your current needs and adjust later using the upgrade option shown in the dashboard. VPNVG offers a 14-day no-questions-asked refund. See the Terms of Service for the application process and eligibility details.
Confirm the plan, data allowance, and payment method before submitting the order.
Get Your Configuration
Get the Subscription from Account Overview
After the order becomes active, return to Account Overview. First check the plan status and remaining data to confirm that active service information appears for the current account. Then find the subscription section and use the dashboard’s copy function to get the subscription link. Do not copy the URL from the browser address bar; it is the dashboard page address, not the subscription configuration required by the client.
The correct subscription link is generated by the dashboard for your current account. You normally do not need to edit it after copying, and you should not remove any characters. To avoid adding spaces to the clipboard, paste it directly into the client. If you must check the format temporarily, verify only that it begins with a complete URL. Never share the real link in public chats, documents, or screenshots.
Account Overview also shows information related to the current subscription. If the plan is not active yet, return to Orders and confirm the payment result instead of repeatedly importing an empty subscription. If the dashboard shows an active plan but the copy button does not work as expected, refresh Account Overview and try again. If the issue remains, visit the Support page for subscription retrieval guidance.
Get the subscription from Account Overview; do not use the example link on the page.
Platform Setup
Import the Subscription into Your Platform’s Client
VPNVG supports Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and Linux. This section explains where to import the subscription on common platforms without covering underlying networking theory. Get the client from the Downloads section of the user dashboard and follow the entry shown for your platform after signing in. Paste the subscription only after installation; do not look for installers or configuration files on third-party pages while signed out.
Windows
Open the client download area in the user dashboard, select the VPNVG client for Windows, and install it as instructed. After launching it, open subscription management, choose import from a link or add subscription, and paste the subscription link you copied earlier. Confirm and wait for the client to load the route list. Once regions and route types appear, return to the connection home screen.
If the system asks whether to allow a network connection during first launch, read the system prompt and confirm. If the import completes but the list remains empty, use the client’s Update Subscription function instead of adding the same link again. Duplicate entries make route selection confusing later.
macOS
Get the VPNVG client for macOS from the user dashboard and open it after installation. The system may ask you to approve a network extension or VPN configuration permission. Follow the prompt in System Settings, grant permission, and return to the client. Then open subscription management, choose Add Subscription, paste the link copied from the dashboard, and save it.
Wait for the routes to sync after saving. If the client icon still shows that it is unavailable, check whether the required system permission has been granted before reinstalling. Settings names may differ slightly between macOS versions, but the approach is the same: allow the client to create the network configuration, then return to the app and update the subscription.
Android
Sign in to the Downloads section of the user dashboard and get the VPNVG client for Android. Open the app, go to the subscription or configuration page, choose import by link, paste the subscription, and confirm. After the routes sync, the system will request VPN permission on the first connection. Approve the request so the client can connect.
Some Android systems restrict apps that run in the background for extended periods. If the connection drops after the screen locks, allow the client to keep running in Battery or Background settings. Menu names vary widely by device, so this page does not list every option. Visit the Support page for guidance on connections and background operation.
iOS
Open the iOS client section in the user dashboard and install the VPNVG client using the method provided there. In the app, find subscription management or Add Configuration, choose import from a link, and paste the subscription from Account Overview. Save the configuration, select any available route, and start the connection. The system will ask to add a VPN configuration.
Confirm the system request and return to the client. The connection status should change normally. If you have added other configurations before, check the subscription name during import and make sure you select the VPNVG entry. You do not need to delete configurations that are still in use; just confirm the selected subscription before connecting.
Sign in, choose your platform, and import the subscription for the current account.
Connection Check
Choose a Route and Verify That It Works
After importing the subscription, run an update so the client retrieves the current route list. Choose a route based on the target service’s region. During peak hours, you can try an IEPL dedicated route first, then switch to a relay or direct route according to the target you are accessing. Start the connection after selecting a route, wait until the client clearly shows Connected, and then open the browser or target app.
Do not rely only on the client’s toggle when testing. First open a familiar website to confirm basic access. Then open the international website, AI tool, or streaming service you actually need and check that the page loads and the account region appears correctly. If basic sites work but the target service does not, switch to a route that better matches the target region instead of reinstalling the client immediately.
The interface clearly shows Connected and does not remain stuck on Connecting.
The browser loads pages normally and the existing network connection has not been interrupted unexpectedly.
The website or app you need to use can establish a connection and load its content normally.
If the client offers rule-based routing, you can leave it enabled for everyday use so requests follow the appropriate paths. To check whether a service is affected by the current route, temporarily switch routes and reopen the target app. After changing routes, give the app time to establish a new connection; if necessary, close and reopen it.
Troubleshooting
Troubleshoot Connection Issues in Order
If the route list is empty, first check that the plan is active, then return to Account Overview and copy the subscription again, and finally update the client. Do not use the example URL as a subscription or edit the link generated by the dashboard. If the client can update routes but cannot connect, try another route in the same region to determine whether the issue is limited to one route or related to the local network.
If the client shows Connected but the target service still does not work, first confirm that the selected region meets the target service’s requirements, then fully close and reopen the target app. Streaming and AI Tools may return different results based on region, account status, and local cache, so check “client connected” and “target service region matched” separately.
For issues involving system permissions, background operation, router settings, routing rules, or repeated disconnections, this page does not go further. Visit the Support page and browse the “Connections and Troubleshooting” category. For guidance on IEPL dedicated routes, relays, direct routes, billing, and choosing a plan, read the service selection guide. This keeps the current guide focused on the complete process from account creation to the first connection.
